There is wonderful roof terrace with pool, a place to relax.- Manages to fully satisfy the very high expectations of its guest.
- The rooms are comfortable and stylish.
- The Spa and indoor pool are an oasis of calm.
Our Review
Arguably one of the best hotels in Barcelona, the 1898 often outperforms five star hotels. In the few years it has been open, it has managed to build an excellent reputation. Its location on the Ramblas is ideal, and there is good range of facilities (rooftop pool and spa). The hotel facilities are so opulent some guests may never want to leave the hotel!

Click on a tab to see what they said ...The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Las Ramblas: the place to be in Barcelona, just a short walk from both the port and Plaza Catalunya. Great location to base yourself whether shopping or sightseeing. Some customers have reported, "superb location" near to metro stations and mentioned that it's worth getting a 10 journey ticket.
