Adagio Hotel

The Adagio benefits from a fantastic location right in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, less than 2 minutes' walk from Las Ramblas. The Adagio is on a side street that feeds off Las Ramblas and although the street is fairly large in Gothic Quarter terms its main traffic is pedestrian. Along the road and around the area you will find restaurants, bars and the odd souvenir shop. Plaza Reial is literally just round the corner and this square is a favourite eating place for many locals. Here you will find an assortment of outdoor cafes and restaurants serving local cuisine. The port area with its many fish restaurants and Plaza Catalunya with its department stores are all within 10 minutes' walk. The Liceu metro station is 3 minutes' walk from the Adagio. Barcelona's main airport (El Prat) is 13 kms away (approximately 25 minutes in a taxi), or you can take the airport bus to Plaza Catalunya and walk down the Ramblas to the Adagio.
