It's unfortunate that this once glorious building has not been maintained as it should have been, making it a bit disappointing. If you get a good deal then it can offer good value for money, but it is often more expensive than better hotels in the area.

It is within easy walking distance of Barcelona's main tourist attractions including Las Ramblas and the Barri Gothic quarter.
