The hotel is located in the city centre of Barcelona on the Avenida parallel. This is a short walk of half a mile (about 5 mins) from the Ramblas, Gothic Quarter and the Plaza Catalunya. The hotel is also close to the metro Parallel. A taxi normally takes about 25 mins from Barcelona International Airport.

The hotel is housed in a modern building. It is quite a large hotel with 170 rooms. All rooms are non smoking. The rooms have either one double bed or two twin beds, there are approximately 80 twins, 39 doubles, 45 singles, 3 triples and 1 quad. The standard is basic, clean and functional and suited to budget travellers. The standard double and twin rooms have tiled floors simple bedding and a bedside table. There is also a small wooden desk and a chair as well as a wardrobe. The grey and white-tiled bathrooms have strip lights, a small plastic stool and shower/bath tub combination. The hotel offers a hot buffet breakfast in it's ground floor restaurant. The hotel also serves lunch and evening meals, although this is not on a regular basis. The hotel is suitable for guests looking for simple clean no frills accommodation in a central location near to the Ramblas.
