lovely hotel, great location but really small bedroom with no place to sit except the bed. However, the roof terrace was great for a relaxing drink.
Top Tip
worth getting the open top bus to see all the sights.

Any room number ending in 07 is a poor room with no outlook. Other rooms are fine but expensive.
Top Tip
Beware Metro station across road from Hotel, named Jaeume 1. It is loaded with pickpockets. 3 visits, two attempts to rob.

The rooms are tiny, beds by Torquemada. The beds were hell. The 1st room we were offered the air conditioning was stuck on hot - should have been checked. No box of tissues and minimum towels. The staff were either fantastic or surly, the hotel masseuse is brilliant.
Top Tip
You don't need a huge room in Barcelona but you do need a good night's sleep. .
Parking is very expensive in B'ona, factor it into your stay total costs. 33 euros a day.
Tapas Bars!!!!******a walk away.

Beds are a little on the hard side but I quite liked that feature.

The single room was the worst in the place so i would definitely recommend staying in a twin for sole use. Breakfast was brilliant, location great.

There are many positive features of this hotel - the breakfasts were excellent, the roof-top bar had a stunning view, staff friendly and extremely helpful. The only downside was that our room was on the 1st floor facing the busy street and we could actually hear the subway underneath.
Top Tip
Good tapas at Lonya de Tapas.
Gaudi guided tour informative and worth the money.

Only problem was being allocated a tiny room on the first floor at the rear, looking out onto air conditioning units which were constantly on the go.

Excellent, well located, clean hotel. Room at back of hotel - poor view but nice and quiet. Stunning breakfasts - really great start to the day! Very central location - walked to port, Ramblas, Zoo - all within a 5-15 minute walk - no need for a car (but wear comfy walking shoes!)
Top Tip
Great restaurant round the corner - "Taller Tapas" - looking at the hotel, walk right, cross the small side street and go down the main road for 20 yards past the news stand and filter left towards a big church. Restaurant is 40 yards down this side road next to a DIY / hardware store. Brilliant seafood / tapas, especially grilled squid. Lovely bar area.
