Perfect city centre location.- Clean, modern, designer rooms, bigger than most in city.
- Very friendly, helpful, efficient staff, there to help.
- Infinity rooftop pool is a big plus in the summer.
Our Review
The height of cool modern design in the city centre, within easy walking distance of the Ramblas and across the road from the Gothic Quarter. To promote the feel of a calm, quiet, peaceful retreat, the hotel has dim lighting throughout, accompanied by soothing piped music. Some may find the interior a little dark, but it's certainly relaxing. In summer the rooftop pool is one of the best spots in Barcelona for a great view whilst taking a dip to cool off.

Our guests have commented on the Hotel under the headings below. Click on a tab to see what they said ...As the name suggests the Grand Central is in centre of the city, close to Barcelona's Gothic Cathedral. The hotel offers spectacular views of the entire Gothic district and the ancient city walls. It's on the main road of Via Laietana that runs parallel with the Ramblas with the heart of the Gothic Quarter sandwiched between them. Las Ramblas is a 6 minute walk away, as is the shopping around Plaza Catalunya and restaurants on the sea front.
