Our Review

The Avinyo hotel is a modern property in a funky designer kind of way. It has one of the best city centre, Gothic Quarter and Ramblas locations. Being a new hotel (summer 2007) we feel the jury is still out and reviews are mixed. That said, it does sometimes represent great value when it offers low rates.

The hotel is located in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, just 5 minutes’ walk from Las Ramblas, the Cathedral, Boqueria Market, Placa Reial and the Town Hall. The nearest metro station (Liceu) is 5 minutes’ walk away.

     Lots of good restaurants and places to see within walking distance....             the situation of the hotel could not have been better...             very close to the Ramblas and Port Vell...             not too close to noisy areas, but within easy reach of La Ramblas...             very central to everything...             It is based in the gothic area, loads of fantastic trendy boutique style shops on doorstep. Near to port....             Only two mins walk from La Rambla, and five-ten mins from the harbour...             Brilliant location in a fabulous city. ...
