Economic hotel located in a busy street (so bring earplugs if your bedtime is early relative to Barcelona!). Convenient for the old city - lots of bars, cafes, tapas nearby
Top Tip
Neyras on Laietana is a restaurant not to be missed. Las Ramblas is a few hundred meters in the other direction.

Comment
The water from the shower was brown and unfit to clean oneself.
The noise from the street was unacceptable late at night.
On arrival at the hotel the staff at the counter check-in could have been more welcoming.
Lady at breakfast did excellent job of preparing breakfast.
Top Tip
Getting to Montserrat was difficult due to the lack of signposting in the Metros.
Give yourself plenty of time.

The street at the front of the building are extremely busy for pedestrians, and the rooms at the front are not particularly sound proof.
Top Tip
Excellent city to visit with many attractions. Tapas bars on Las Ramblas are excellent both in terms of food and atmosphere. The side streets off the Las Ramblas have plenty of shops, resturuants and bars. The Nou Camp is a must experience.

Comment
This hotel should never be a 4 star hotel. The ONLY good thing abouyt it is the location, but even then there is loud music playing every night until 4 so if you come here for a rest - forget it.
Top Tip
Donts stop at this hotel! Barcelona is a lovely city and there must be plenty of other good hotels to stay at.
