Rooms are a good size for Barcelona and their decor is modern and really well thought out. Staff are helpful and informative, a strongly recommended hotel providing an excellent base and high level of service.

The building itself dates back to the 16th century when it was in the hands of some Barcelona's wealthiest and most famous families. The Regencia Colon hotel was renovated in 1999. The main building is a fairly standard block building housing a bar and breakfast room. The Restaurant "La Carabela" offers Mediterranean cuisine and is available to guests (it is housed in the Colon Hotel (sister hotel), just a few metres away from the Regencia.)

Great feedback from our customers staying at the BCN Port, its a very good standard budget hotel in a central location. The hotel has 50 rooms most are twin bedded. All rooms have private bathroom and have a reasonable range of facilities including air conditioning, central heating, as well as personal safe. Accommodation is clean, functional and service is very good, user reviews rate it way higher than its official category. 
The Mont Blanc Hotel is one of our favourite properties in Barcelona due to its facilities, comfort and location. The exterior of the property is modern and as soon as you enter the lobby the overall effect is impressive. The Montblanc is a good modern 3-star hotel providing guests with a range of facilities.

There are only about 40 guestrooms, of which 17 are twins and 17 are singles, and 6 doubles. The rooms are all en suite, small, basic and clean. 
Great city centre hotel composed by three connected buildings, all with traditional style façade. While its a budget end hotel it continues to receive customer feedback much higher than its official category. Traditional and pleasant decoration. Friendly, helpful staff, city centre location and free internet make this a good choice.

It's located just 50 metres off the Ramblas in a completely renovated historical building of the former Convent of Saint Augustine (1720). This classical building is all of what remains of the original structure, the hotel itself is very modern in style. The interior has been redesigned and decorated in a modern and functional fashion. 
The hotel is physically on the Ramblas and enjoys marvellous views of the outstanding Palacio Guell, one of Gaudi's many masterpieces. The bedrooms are variable, some are large and well decorated, others face the Ramblas so although you have a view they can be noisy at night.

This is a small hotel ideal for those on budget who would like to right in the centre of Barcelona. The hotel consists of 38 rooms with air-conditioning, complete bathroom, hair dryer and satellite TV. Internet is available in the lounge and views of Barcelona can be enjoyed from the roof top terrace.

This familiar hotel houses 45 comfortable guestrooms with full bathroom and a number of modern comforts. There is also a bar area for guests to enjoy after a busy day sightseeing. A good choice for those travelling on a low budget, but who wish to be in the very heart of this magical city. 
Generally a below average property with an excellent location. The hotel can represent good value especially in low season but only if you are looking for simple accommodation with an excellent location, and are not concerned about the level of service. 
Having been closed for two years, the Espana hotel has benefited from a major refurbishment, and is now relaunching as sleek stylish four star hotel. This hotel will be big competition for the existing four stars in the area, when it opens it's doors on the 1st of October 2010.
