The location of this hotel was excellent, however ask for a room towards the back as we had a room on the front and it was really noisy.
Lovely staff and breakfast was good, would def. stay there again we loved Barcelona, thanks.

It is not that I want instant attention when I speak to hotel receptionists, rather that at this hotel I always had the feeling that the receptionists thought there were more important things to do than listen to me. All exept one that is, the check-out receptionist was bright and smiling, so a big thank you to her.

Watch your pockets and bags. I was warned about pick-pockets before I arrived, and I had a couple shadowing me and other tourists in St Antonio Market, which is a shame for Barcelona is a truely wonderful city; well worth staying in for a couple of days before going to the countryside or the beach.

At the time we stayed the small hotel bar was not open at all apparently due to staff shortages. As a result, other than at breakfast, it was not possible to obtain any hot drinks and only cold/alcoholic drinks from the mini bar in the room.

This hotel was perfectly placed for the ramblas and all places in Barcelona.
We had room 27 which was att he back of the hotel, nice and quiet, the rooms had large flat screen tv's, mini bar and sofa. The bathrooms were lovely and large and the breakfasts were fantastic, with fresh watermelon and other fruit, pastries, toast and bacon, eggs, and all you could want to start the day.
Overall a very good hotel, not a 5* but very good for the price we paid. To be fair you dont need the 5* comforts as there is way to much to see and do in Barcelona to spend time in your rooms.

If you can push the boat go down to the beach front by the 2nd port and eat at cajo san ( I think thats the name it has a sea horse logo). It was the most beautiful fish any where in the world. Also dont eat tapas at the restaurant in the corner at the fruit markets as it is very over priced, go instead to one in the bars in the middle of the stalls or those around the edge.
