Undergoing extensive renovations through 2009, the Palace is an iconic Barcelona hotel. Recent guests, while praising the service and architecture, have commented that the décor is looking a little faded, but this should soon be rectified.

The hotel enjoys a central location and is well served by public transport. It is close to all amenities and tourist attractions such as the Gaudi Cathedral, "La Sagrada Familia", Picasso museum, the Opera House and to all shopping areas.
