Great affordable hotel which allows you to stay in Barcelona but not directly in the maddness of Les Ramblas. Surrounding by fantastic architecture, restuarants and shop, a great venue.

Bathroom not private enough, with a glass semi see through door which couldn't be locked. Great location at the top of La Rambla.

Top Tip
Take the bus tours to see as much as you can of the city. The unfinished cathedral and the Nou Camp are a must.

When we went for breakfast on the first day, there was mouldy bread- not just a bit of mould- really covered and blue as if it had been mouldy for some time. Some of the meat also looked like it had seen better days. I did speak to the waiter who removed the bread, but I could not believe this went unoticed, and certainly put me off the breakfast that first day, and certainly cautious. This was a real shame, as the hotel really was lovely, and the staff friendly

Attic restaurant on The Ramblas is lovely, as is Sinatras off Placa Reiall

V friendly and helpfull, breakfast and provision (no milk or fruit juice had to ask to top dispensers up)could be better.Room smelt damp- although v.clean due to leaky aircon unit ,which had run down wood wall and looked damp (room 605)-room on small side

use airport bus (only 3 mins from bus stop to hotel -taxis rip off charged us 7.5 euros for luggage

Take your shampoo and conditioner with you. In addition take your towels as the towels were very old smelly and not clean the rest was good.
