Bearing in mind that the Coronado is a 1-star hotel, it none the less manages to offer most guests a comfortable stay and a decent breakfast, though room quality does seem to vary.

A few minutes away from the Ramblas and near the famous Avinguda del Parallel, the Coronado hotel offers 35 compact, simply furnished rooms equipped with private facilities and full bathroom. It is best suited to budget travellers and students or anyone seeking basic but clean accommodation in the centre of Barcelona. There is a TV with satellite channels and a computer (with ISDN Internet access) in the small reception area. To back of the lobby is a small bar with 3 or 4 tables.

     Breakfast was grand...             best thing about the hotel was the reception...             ALL the carpet on the stairs were thread bare,...             breakfast could have had more variety...             A good base for exploring the city. ...             hotel was clean ...             breakfast was poor ...
