Room was a little small for the money, and the half-bath was just irritating. However, brilliant location for sightseeing (and peaceful at night for such a central location), great breakfast and helpful staff.

We liked the little outdoor area which was very private and quiet. The free internet use is definitely an attraction, also the provision of coffee, tea and pastries each day was a nice touch. Breakfast was delicious.
Top Tip
"Four Cats" ("Quatre Gats") restaurant is worth a visit because of its historical significance and the food and service are great. The hotel is in a prime location for visiting all the sights of Barcelona, right in the Gothic Quarter.

Couldn't get a better location for a first timer in Barcelona and right in the middle of the Gothic Quarter (Old city) - 2 mins from the Cathedral, 2 mins from La Ramblas, 5 mins from Placa de Catalunya, 10 mins from the beach.
Top Tip
Olympic harbour for Seafood
Tapa Tapa good for guess what
Apart from the obvious - go for a walk along the beach early in the morning.
Must do the Gothic walking tour bookable at tourist info at Paca de Catalunya
