Stayed here in March 2010. Hotel located just off Ramblas. Great location with cafes, Starbucks and 2 or 3 Irish bars on the same street.
The room was spacious and clean with nice decor. No tea and coffee making facilities in room but there was vending machines in the hotel. No minibar in room either. 2 flatscreen TVs but only CNN in English! Bed comfy!
Very good breakfast, bacon and eggs etc with all the usual cold stuff served till half ten. Eat as much as you like!
A little noisy but it did go quiet around 11ish.
A few too many steps so not ideal for buggys and wheelchairs.
Overall a very good value for money hotel. Not perfect but not bad at all. Would stay here again.
Top Tip
Use the Bus Turistic. 22e for one day, 29e for two. Very convenient way to see all the sights and money off entry to various attractions.

Delightful location. Lots of action in street and felt like being in the centre of the old town.

We arrived and got the A2 but from the airport to our hotel for only 4.50 euros each and it only took 30 mins. Much cheaper than a taxi. The hotel was on Carrer de Farran just off Las Ramblas. There was some road noise but it really didn't bother us. The rooms were cleaned and the towels changed every other day which was appreciated as it was 32 degrees and showers where used regularly. Breakfast was served between 7.30 and 10.00am which allowed a lay in, with great selection of cereals and continental breakfast choices.
Top Tip
The tour bus is 21 euros each, but worth it as you can get on and off as many times as you like allowing you to see all the city hightlights. Schillings Bar on Carrer de Farran has a lovely selection of tapas and not too expensive. O'Haras Bar across the street has nice staff and good prices. We had a lovely anniversary 3 day break and would recommend this hotel to anyone for the excellant location and value for money.

Hotel was in an excellent position, and was good value for money. Only negative was it was a bit noisy at night time. Ask for a room away from the street. Would visit again
